While this is a goofy way to handle guilt and karma, it makes sense. Think of it as a sort of divine punishment for his actions until he decides to make a permanent choice. VincentВ ends up experiencing the horrific nightmares each night following this encounter, requiring him to pull blocks to avoid death. The rest of the game covers his indecision at being caught between two different kinds of women and lifestyles, by which I mean something lawful and serious as opposed to something chaotic and with no commitments. He meets Catherine at their local bar and has sex with her. She wants to get married, but heвЂ™s not sure. Vincent, our protagonist, has been with his girlfriend Katherine for five years. I mean, even though it is one of those games where you have to list multiple categories for genre, you can very easily identify Catherine as a game about cheating. With Catherine: Full Body announced for the PlayStation 4 and Vita, nowвЂ™s a good time to go over how it handles the topics of relationships, sex, and gender. While this is a horror/puzzle/adventure game, it is also very much about sex. But thereвЂ™s one area in which it may or may not be at its best. The visual novel elements are there, since weвЂ™re watching an emotional tale of a man caught between two women. It definitely handles horror well, since thereвЂ™s the idea that Vincent could die in his dreams. It is a fantastic puzzle game, with block-pulling action that has even found it space at EVO and other competitive events. Vincent asks Catherine to marry him and she declines because she's a demon.Catherine is a game that does many things, many of them well. Vincent decides to ditch both of his love interests and takes out a loan. Vincent asks Catherine to marry him and she gets permission from her father, Satan, and accepts. In a bonus scene, Vincent moves to space (!).

In an extra scene, we see Vincent surrounded by demon ladies in the underworld. Erica, the waitress, turns out to be transsexual. Vincent and Katherine get back together and there's an extended wedding scene.

Here's how to get all the different variations:Д¬atherine Ending Descriptions Katherine (True) All is well that ends well.Дuring the 9th Night, the first question actually doesn't affect your ending, but the following two determine your fourth question and ending. The last few questions and your standing on the Karma meter up to that point determine the ending.ДЄs it ends of with Vincent turning into a demon. The ending variations are actually affected by the Confession questions in the last stage (9th Night). These are achieved by being nice to either Catherine (Pink Side) or Katherine (Blue Side), or being mean to both (keeping your Karma meter in the middle). There are three possible main routes with different variations of good and bad endings for each. Karma is affected by the choices you make during the 'confession' segments in the game, by replying to text messages on your phone and even dialogue choices.
